From the time he was a young toddler, John Fares loved the water. Ever since he has been swimming in the beaches around Australia. From Surfers Paradise to Portsea, he has swum almost every fun swim held along the east coast of Australia.

What does John Fares enjoy about the water. “The feeling of the cold and the escape from the mundane stresses of life” are what makes it enjoyable. John remembers his experience in the water at Lorne when he was 5 years old as a nipper. There is nothing better than the freedom and fun in the beach.

John Fares still makes time in his busy schedule to go for a swim twice a week on a regular basis. He really enjoys the company of the regular swimmers at the local pool.
